Welcome to Mrs. Jackson's Math Class 

Welcome to FSEMS!!!  Math students should come prepared with the following supplies:  a one-inch three-ring binger, looseleaf paper for homework, a three-holed notebook for notetaking, divider tabs for math notebook/binder, plenty of pencils (I do mean plenty!), highlighters and a few ink pens for correcting.  Calculators will be provided when use is acceptable.  It is recommended that students use the same model calculator at home during homework as we will be using in school which is the TI30XIIs.  These calculators can be purchased for between $12-$16 at your local office supply stores, although it is not required.  I will be distributing more information at Open House on September 13th regarding calculators and their use in class and for homework.  This website will contain important information and links throughout the year.  Students and parents are urged to check it frequently for upcoming assignments and due dates.  I truly look forward to a rewarding year with the incoming 7th graders as well as a strong collaboration with their famililes in order to make this year the best ever!
